My Past... Greetings, I am Dea Divi a screenwriter, poet, artist, and author. I am a prolific writer with humble beginnings. I was born in Los Angeles, California. I grew up in both Northern and Southern California. At an early age, I developed a knack for oral story telling. I thrived in telling different genres. I would act out my ideas or stories in child's play. When I learned to write, I wrote short stories and poetry. Over the years, my writing style became more complex and philosophical. I enjoyed entertaining or challenging the reader on a emotional, social, mental, spiritual, and emotional level. I come from a large family. I am a middle child of several siblings. I grew up loving subjects such as literature, science, history, art and culture. I write beyond my years with an understanding of how life works in any given situation. I write with a passion, beauty and cleverness that is my own style. I write from my own life experiences and others in how they see the world. Everything I write is a piece of my own artwork.
When I grew up, I became good at both science and literature, so I felt it was difficult to choose which one to have a profession in. I excelled in science in high school and attended Allied Health Academy for three years. I wanted to join the health careers profession. I went on to purse that in college majoring in Biology. I later switched to English based on my professor's recommendations. I took a break from school to find my footing and returned a few years later. I graduated from Global Universal Arizona Campus a.k.a (Ashford University) with a Bachelors in English in 2020 and a Masters from Mercy College in English Literature in 2022. I will be attending post-graduate school for a PH.D to further my educational pursuit.
Personal Growth...
I've stumbled, fell down and got myself back up through every comment I received about anything in life. I smiled and wrote about it. I can be repetitive at times but it's my personality nature. I live in the moment, but plan from a to z. I am a very busy person, but I still take time out of my day to enjoy the simple things. I am very observant, cautious, and mentally collected in my surroundings. I have a metaphysical, idealistic and spiritual way of looking at life. I was influenced by epic stories of myths at an early age. I believe that stories of the past teaches humanity about key moral lessons for the present and future. I am a storyteller who has a creative artistic vibe, yet I am ambitious, poetic and narrative.
I believe that knowledge is power and key to individuality. I believe that making your own in you mark in this world is a work of art. In closing, I am a humble person with a varsity for life.
